FRONTLINE of Northern Nevada
Frontline is an HIV education program presented by long-time survivors of
HIV/AIDS targeted towards at risk youth and adults in both schools and community
settings. During panel presentations, HIV-positive individuals use researched
model educational curricula framed with their personal stories. Frontline
speakers personalize the risk of HIV by putting a face on the disease and
provide a safe and supportive environment for audiences to address their
concerns and perceived risks of HIV infection and AIDS.

ACCEPT - Advancing Community Cultivation & Enhancing Progressive Transformations
Our mission is to provide culturally-specific education and training to
promulgate HIV/AIDS/STD and Substance Abuse prevention and exposing the myths
and risky behaviors within the community, while providing a social forum for
African-American churches, community organizations, support groups and people
with HIV/AIDS. While our mission embraces all cultures, African Americans, the
fastest growing at-risk population, are our primary focus.

Northern Nevada Outreach Team (NNOT)
The Northern Nevada Outreach Team is the result of collaborative efforts which
began in 1997 when several community based organizations mobilized in an effort
to actively prevent HIV and sexually transmitted diseases in Northern Nevada.
NNOT strives for prevention and awareness of HIV and STDs in our community. This
is made possible by educational services, prevention materials, skill building,
harm and risk reduction and opportunities for the community to test for HIV and
STDs in non-traditional venues.
